This hand-carved beauty by Gibson is 101 years old and still as stunning as ever! It has one regular guitar neck that plays like normal (actually, it's surprisingly easy to get your arms around) and an additional 10 harp strings with Zither-style tuners.
Please inspect the photos carefully for signs of cosmetic damage and repairs. This instrument is in great condition for its age (better than we've seen before) but still has some dings and other regular wear and tear. All three of its bridges—two archtop-style and one carved 16-pin bridge at the bottom—have been replaced, and two bars have been added to the tailpiece to help support the bottom bridge. The only finish work we're sure of is some refinishing on the headstock, but it's possible there's more that we're not able to catch. It was cleaned and setup by Gibson 15 years ago and is in great playing condition.
Please note: due to the size of this instrument, it is available for local pickup only in our Nashville, TN storefront.
