This folk instrument, popular in Central and South America and Puerto Rico, is a fun and interesting piece to play for those who are unfamiliar! This particular Tiple is all-mahogany and has 10 strings (doubled 1st and 4th and tripled 2nd and 3rd). We have it setup for a "modern" DGBE tuning that plays similarly to a ukulele, just with a whole lot more jangle! It has some regular wear for its age but is in overall good cosmetic condition and excellent playing condition.
